Common Uses
Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Hydralyte may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption, or due to a hot or dry environment.
Suggested Dosage
1. Place Hydralyte Ice Blocks in the freezer. 2. When frozen cut open one end with clean scissors. 3. Push the frozen Hydralyte Ice Block from the uncut end. 4. Suck small amounts until consumed. USAGE ADVICE Hydralyte Ice Blocks may be consumed unfrozen, however, Hydralyte Ready to Use Solution is more convenient as a drink. Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea: Age in years: Under 12 months, Recommended dosage: 1 x ice block every 60 mins, Max Ice Blocks per day: 16. Age in years: 1-3 years, Recommended dosage: 1 x ice block every 60 mins, Max Ice Blocks per day: 24. Age in years: 3-6 years, Recommended dosage: 1 x ice block every 30 mins, Max Ice Blocks per day: 32. Age in years: 6-12 years, Recommended dosage: 2 x ice block every 30 mins, Max Ice Blocks per day: 43. Sodium Chloride: 2.5mg/mL. Potassium Citrate (Monohydrate): 2.2mg/mL. Citric Acid Monohydrate: 4.8mg/mL. Glucose (Monohydrate): 16mg/mL.
